True Colors

You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
Its hard to take courage

In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small

But I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors, true colors
Are beautiful, like a rainbow

Show me a smile then,
Don't be unhappy, can't remember
When I last saw you laughing

If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors, true colors
Are beautiful, like a rainbow

If this world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
You call me up
Because you know I'll be there

And I'll see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show

Your true colors
True colors
True colors
Are shining through

I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors, true colors
Are beautiful, like a rainbow

Thanks a lot for this post. It is so much inspiring to think about our true colors as Christians. In the Bible it is summed up to one word, "Love". "For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." Galatians 5:14. However, our love should obtain a certain quality. That is love without dissimulation Romans 12:9. That i think defines our true colors as Christians.

The "yarn bombing" on that tree is so cool. I can picture the crocheters on ladders doing this. Pretty. I like your blog.

Thanks sis! I'm told the photo is from Germany, where they do this "yarn bombing". I thought it was so beautiful and inspiring. :)

Love you!
